Read Aloud Story Tea Time With Tracilee. Chapter Four ($10)

Hello Friends,

Come join us at Sunflower Village for a reading by local author, Tracilee Freeman!

Tracilee is a native to Venice, Florida. She wrote an adventure book, inspired by her three children, and she is gracing us with her presence at the studio by reading her book to the children of our community.

We will be serving tea to sip on while enjoying an illuminating read aloud adventure story. As the children sit, gathered in a circle around the table, they can enjoy a cup of tea while listening to the story as it unfolds. Tracy Lee will be with us at Sunflower Village every Tuesday to read us a new chapter of her book.

The book for this reading will be:

‘Visit Taylor in the Alps of Switzerland’ from her Glowing Globe series.

An adventurous story that follows siblings Tara and Thomas as they explore, solve mysteries, and make foreign friendships!

Before the read aloud begins, we will serve tea with a special herbal tea blend to the children. The tea will be sweetened with local honey. ( please let us know if there are any allergies so we can accommodate.)

We are sourcing the herbal teas from a new, local apothecary ~ Coyote + Rose, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to be supporting our friends as they begin their new journey of providing quality products to the community.

When you pair a story with tea, your children create a connection between contemplation and rest, while also creating memories of serenity and joy.

The focus is less about interpretation and analysis and more about exposure and enjoyment! Because of this, anyone can participate.

This will be an ongoing series of meeting at the Studio every Tuesday. Come join us any time - bring the whole family, for the littles that aren’t old enough for tea, they are welcome to play in our play area during the read aloud. The play area has, blocks, games, crayons + paper, and even a chalk board to scribble on. We just ask the parents to do their best to keep the littles playing quietly while the reading is going on.
